First thing in the morning. As usual I didn’t leave enough time and had to valet park the car at the hospital (insane!) and am now waiting. HUP is huge and even though it is the best I am not sure I want to be going to a hospital for doctor’s appts. There are sick people everywhere. The actual office seems to be safe but somewhat utilitarian. I might need to revisit commuting to NYC...

I missed my train home tonight for many reasons but primarily because I (pulled an almost all nighter and had to talk in front of people and handed in a final and most importantly) was SuRE there was another train in an hour. best addition
to my life is the genius feature on iPhone and iTunes. It makes the best mixes of ballads from my favorite musicals! I am a repeat abuser but now each song is better than the next and I sing my heart out (silently mouthing the words) every chance I get.

i am so happy to be back home after a week.
it is lovely to be with my love, it is so strange how out of balance i feel when i am away from him. there is nothing that i could isolate and identify, just a general feeling of being happy to be next to him and sleep next to him and be around our things and be at *home*.
additionally, i tried to cook after having (cough) to stop at redding terminal...
