it’s 2.15 am and i am still working on my damn report! i am not sure why it’s been so hard for me to wrap my brain around it and around 12 i finally got it. now, i need to write a few more paragraphs and call it a night. i will have to get up early and write another report but that won’t take long! also, i will need to edit this one- i am fading! i am also drinking beer!

hahaha, don’t worry, she is just visiting with grandma and grandpa because i was going to be busy with finals and then we are going away for two weeks! it seemed like it made sense for her to stay with them instead of paying lots of money for someone to watch her here. but i miss her. i am a wimp.

Today I was a morning person! I am not sure what came over me. I haven’t been sleeping well lately but last night I slept through the night and it was magnificient! I promptly woke up early and cleaned the kitchen (including icky floors), started doing my mountains of laundry, cleaned my office (I have been avoiding this for weeks), unpacked a lot of suitcases which I stuffed into the closet over the course of the year, organized closet and set aside things to donate! I feel like a machine! I am now trying to do work in my office since it’s clean and organized. Phew!

I still really miss my dog in a bad bad sad way. I was even looking at pictures of dogs needing homes on craigslist. I think in my head this was a better idea than in practice. I am busy and it wouldn’t be fair to her but maybe we could have made it work. I don’t leave the house now that she isn’t here. I am remembering why it was I wanted to have her in the first place and how much more grounded my life has been due to the most wonderful pet doggy ever. Just a few more weeks, I will see her January 6th!

Today I was a morning person! I am not sure what came over me. I haven’t been sleeping well lately but last night I slept through the night and it was magnificient! Diet? Have I mentioned that I sort of stopped? I did. I fell of the wagon and didn’t even try to get back on. I am still working out but I am no longer letting my life revolve around calories. I just want to be i n shape and be ok with it.

Tonight, I am making latkes!! Daniel said he will only eat a few since he has self control and doesn’t want his waist line to expand… That means more latkes for me! If I finish my school report early I might even drive up to Russiantown and get some caviar. We’ll see.

Also, tomorrow, there is a Latkepalooza at the Jewish Y, I think it’s like Philly’s 92nd Street Y… We might go, problem is that most of the latkes there will probably be made with flour and I wont be able to eat them but will eat them anyway due to the previously mentioned lack of self control. We’ll see.

Office Bathroom Time

Is my favorite time. I catch up on blogs, news, have some privacy and disappear.

I am not good at wedding registry. Daniel edited some of my picks last night after we got a decanter in the mail for which we don’t really have any use or space. Also, he questioned me about what I planned on making with our new countertop mixer which, after googling, we determined was more for people who “bake”. Oops. Also, I had to kiss my “oyster” plates goodbye since on the few occasions we eat oysters- we can use any of the other pretty plates we have. I see his point. I will get some vintage oyster plates!

Today I took off some things and added other things by using Amazon’s feature of other wedding registry peeping. What we really need is a bigger kitchen and more storage space. I am excited if we get some of the things we registered for but I know that when we urgently need the things on there we will just buy them.
