I am in Florida and am having a good time. The weather has been crazy rainy which is the first time I am experiencing this here. I have always been under the impression that it’s sunny and perfect. I guess there is a season for everything. I prefer rain.
I am awake really early while everyone else sleeps (except for d’s dad who is out riding his motorcycle).
Here are some updates:
- One of my in law’s cats weights 34lbs. It’s sort of grotesque. I love big cats but he looks like he is going to have a heart attack.
- Today, I am going to a mall with my mother and sister in law. A mall I’ve never been to- in Boca. My sister in law wants to buy a wallet for her boyfriend. Big day. We might also swing by some of the possible wedding venues that she is interested in for when she gets engaged (i.e. the Ritz). I have a feeling we might also be looking at wedding dresses…
- I found a place on yelp that has GF waffles and pancakes and it’s all I can think of. D is sleeping and if I knew the alarm code for the house I would sneak out and get my waffles on. (It’s 6 am, I am going to be waiting a while.)
- We went to a fancy restaurant last night that put gluten in their mashed potatoes, have you ever heard anything stupider? I explained to the poor waitress that it’s ridiculous.
- In funny news, my mother in law gave me two pairs of comfort shoes that rub her feet in the wrong way. Brand new Naot sandals with rhinestones and cork eaze sandals with a slight platform. Let the summer of comfort begin.
- Daniel left his iPad on the airplane and is bummed.
Ok. I guess I don’t have a lot more to report. This is plenty, right? I think D’s mom is awake, I wonder if she would take me to get a waffle…
